Luna Bar, Kuala Lumpur

The chic Luna Bar provides a superb panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s vigorous capital.  Its long indoor bar has a stylish design that leads guests towards the outer edge of the rooftop for a heart-stopping view of Kuala Lumpur’s twinkling city lights.  Each visit is made extra special not only because of the unique mix of cocktails available but because of the prominent sight of the Petronas Twin Towers.  The pool in the middle looks tempting when the action turns sweltering hot!

The bar is open from 5:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. from Monday to Thursday.  The party starts at 3:00 p.m. and ends around 4:00 a.m. every Friday and Saturday.

Vertigo & Moon Bar, Bangkok

Bangkok, Thailand’s capital city, has so much to offer when it comes to bars with knockout views of the metropolis.  One popular stop is the chill-out experience offered at the Vertigo & Moon Bar on top of the Banyan Tree Hotel in Sathon District. Both Vertigo and the Moon Bar are almost always recommended for stylish cocktail parties, product launches, and fashion shows. It is also perfect for anyone who is simply looking for a nice place hang out with family and friends over some delectable grilled entrees and tasteful cocktail concoctions.  At 61 floors above ground, this open-air rooftop restaurant and bar provides an exhilarating 360 degree view of bustling Bangkok.

The restaurant is open from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. while the bar starts serving drinks at 5:30 p.m. until 1:00 a.m.  Operating hours may change depending on weather conditions.  A dress code is strictly implemented for all guests.

The Club at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore

The Club, which has both an indoor and outdoor capacity of 218 people, is in the SkyPark of the magnificent Marina Bay Sands.  An astonishing view of Singapore’s prominent skyline awaits anyone privileged enough to visit this rooftop venue. The bar is also a fantastic vantage point to watch the newly-launched Wonder Full Light and Water Spectacular Laser Show.

The rooftop bar and restaurant is only available for meals and snacks to Suite & Marina Bay Club hotel guests from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. From 8:00 p.m. onwards, the doors open to non-hotel guests for sumptuous dinners prepared by the hotel’s renowned chefs.  The tempting Chocolate Bar offers a gastronomic feast of more than 50 mouth-watering cacao-based concoctions.

Captain Bar, Shanghai

A rather simple hostel hosts the Captain Bar, a Shanghai hot spot. What the location lacks in grandeur it gives back a hundred times over with a spectacular view. The sparkling Huangpu River and dancing lights of Pudong are truly a sight to behold. Happy Hour from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. from Monday to Thursday is a popular time to unwind here and the music is as thoughtfully mixed as the drinks.
