To ride the Langkawi cable car, you have to go to the starting point which is located next to the Langkawi Oriental Village shopping center. The top station of Mount Mat Chinchang hill is only 2.2 kilometers away from the Oriental Village. The entire cable car ride will last for around 15 minutes and includes two viewing stations.
