I went to China for one month 1989, it was a great adventure, from sightseeing to meals, from wild nature to big city, from shopping to chase by the local police. Well long story. But it turn out the most fun trip ever. I would like to go again 2010.

I believe that the most incredible place in China is the Forbidden City in Beijing. Much more impressive than the Great Wall in my opinion.
FYI: Talking about the Beijing Olympic mascots, their names together actually say "Welcome to Beijing" in mandarin!

China is beautiful some parts. China is constantly improving i hope the keep a watch over their environments. Chinese tourist are also increasingly visiting the masai mara and other African safari destinations so i guess that means the income levels are also improving.
